Home cinema

Bring the cinema home.

Alongside media walls, Wallace creates dedicated home cinema environments. One room, designed around the screen, the seating and the light.

A room, not a television.

A cinema room works differently to a living room. The screen sets the seating, the seating sets the lighting, and the finishes are chosen to keep light and sound where they should be.

We design the room as one piece, in the same way we design a media wall. The same approach, applied to a bigger canvas.

Scope

What a cinema room can include.

Scope is agreed project by project. Anything marked below is confirmed with you before it forms part of a design.

  • Large format screens
  • Projector installations
  • Cinema seating
  • Feature walls and panelling
  • Integrated and ambient lighting
  • Bespoke room design
  • Built-in storage
  • Hidden cabling and cable management

Light is the hard part.

Too much and the picture washes out. Too little and the room is unusable between films. Layered, dimmable lighting is planned into the design from the beginning.

Process

The same five steps.

A cinema room follows the same route as a media wall, with more time spent at design stage.
